Casey and I woke up this morning to a THUMP and a THUD. William usually ends up in the bed with us by the morning, and this morning, that came to an end. We think he woke up and tried to play with the elastic on the sheet, because we woke up to find him on his back with his head close to the bed. He cried for a little while. We tried comforting him in bed, and he went right to the edge of the bed and began playing with the elastic. There is carpet in our room that padded his fall, but a foot to the side would have provided a carpet and rug pad. Least to say, our entire morning and lunch was spent at the clinic and the ER - no bumps, bruises
, abnormal behavior, or differencing in his pupils.
At 10 and a half months, William is 2o pounds, 8 ounces and 28 3/4 inches.
